The Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts (AVSE) and the Paris Dauphine University - Ph.D. and Ph.D. candidate association (ADDD) join forces to organize the second AVSE annual doctoral workshop. This workshop will be organized on Wednesday and Thursday the 30th-31st of October 2013, at the Paris Dauphine University. This is the second event in honor of Ph.D. students (Vietnamese in particular) from all disciplines, who currently pursue a doctoral program in Europe (France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, UK...).

Open to all Ph.D. students (Vietnamese in particular) as well as all interested students, the AVSE doctoral workshop aims to give the participants the opportunity to:

• meet each other,
• exchange research ideas and experiences,
• present their ongoing research projects and/or research papers,
• get comments from senior researchers and fellow students.   

As part of the program, a social networking gala will bring all the participants closer together.

In collaboration with ABG-Intelli'agence, JRD 2013 offers 20 places for a special training called AvanThèse® on the topic "Ph.D. or not Ph.D." . This training is dedicated to bachelor, engineer and Master students who would like to know whether they are cut out to be a Ph.D. candidate. There is no tuition fee, but the pre-inscription is required. The selection is based on applicants' profile and motivation.
